Istanbul Leads In Most Real Estate Sales in Turkey Again
The positive trend for residential sales to foreigners in Turkey continued in the first half of 2019.
19.952 real estates were sold to foreigners in the first 6 months of 2019 and this is the highest record in the history of the country.
As might be expected Istanbul is the city with the highest demand in terms of for property sales to foreigners.
According to statics, Istanbul is the most popular city preferred by foreign investors. Only 764 houses were sold to foreigners in June 2018 however this amount increased to more than 900 houses in June 2019. The positive trend in real estate sales in Istanbul increased %32.1 when compared to the same month of the previous year.
Antalya ranks second in real estate sales to foreigners with 668 houses. Ankara, Yalova, Bursa, and Trabzon follows Antalya with 134, 123, 122 and 111 houses respectively.
