In its 44th year, the festival welcomes many famous orchestras including Warsaw Philharmonic and Vienna Symphony Orchestra as well as famous Turkish acts including world-famous pianist Idil Biret and Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra. The performances take place in the best parts of the city, from İş Şanat Cultural Center in Levent, the zone of luxurious business centers and Istanbul flats to Aya Irini Museum, the biggest remaining church from the Byzantine period in Sultanahmet. Fire of Anatolia “Pera”

he Turkish dance group with a well-deserved international fame for presenting Turkish traditional music and dance in a contemporary style, is ready to show its latest project Pera, the dance performance with the theme of Beyoğlu. The group has reached more than 40 million audiences worldwide and the fans are already waiting for the launch date. The performance can be seen in Grand Pera Emek Hall, in one of the newest shopping malls in Istiklal Street, every Wednesday from the end of May until July. Spare at least one day for that area, as you may also visit Cihangir and Galata, the touristic places close to Istiklal Street and the most popular places for foreigners, who live and buy an Istanbul property.

Istanbul Jazz Festival

If you are visiting Istanbul in July, elegant jazz music will accompany you throughout the month. This annual international festival welcomes many international artists as well as Turkish jazz talents and offers a high-quality contemporary jazz experience to music lovers. You can also catch some of the best examples of world music. The festival takes place in beautiful places like Istanbul Modern Museum in Tophane, the trending area for cultural entrepreneurs as well as Istanbul real estate market, and in the famous Cemal Reşit Rey Hall in Harbiye. Twenty pilots will race for 13 weeks on the tracks of Intercity Istanbul Park, with uniquely designed, identical racecars. Intercity Istanbul Park is located in the inland areas of Tuzla, the gorgeous suburban province of Istanbul. You can even spend the whole weekend there, sparing a day on the shore or modern shopping malls and fish restaurants.
