Residential Property Price Index Risen by 0,96 Percent

The Residential Property Price Index (RPPI) rose by 0,96 percent in June, when compared with the previous month, reaching 213,96.

The Residential Property Price Index data for the month of June, have been announced by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB).

The RPPI (2010 = 100), which is calculated using the cropped median price method, in order to track the price changes in the residential property market of Turkey, rose by 0,96 compared to the previous month, in June of this year, reaching 213,96.

The RPPI also increased by 13,91 percent in June, compared to the same month of last year, and its increase in real terms in this period was 5,82 percent. Unit prices, which are calculated as the value of residential properties per square meter, rose from one thousand 649,08 Liras in June 2015 to one thousand 841,36 Liras in June of this year.
